The Planning and Conservation League (PCL) "is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit lobbying organization, working in the State Legislature and at the administrative level in state government to enact and implement policies to protect and restore the California environment."[1] "PCL directly lobbies our elected officials for sound environmental legislation."[1]

Mission Statement

"To protect and restore California’s natural environment, and to promote and defend the public health and safety of the people of California, through legislative and administrative action."[2]

Leadership

PCL is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors which consist of individuals, organizations, and associate organizations.[3]
