A Porterville Unified School District bond proposition, Measure J ballot question was on the November 6, 2012 ballot for voters in the Porterville Unified School District in Tulare County, where it was defeated.
Measure J would have authorized the district to borrow $90 million.
A 55% supermajority vote was required for approval.

| Measure J: "“To construct and improve school facilities, build permanent classrooms, replace outdated portables, complete necessary support facility improvements, increase student access to modern classroom technology, replace leaky roofs and upgrade lighting, window, utility, heating, and air conditioning systems to reduce annual operating costs, shall the Porterville Unified School District be authorized to issue up to $90 million in bonds at legal interest rates, with annual audits, an independent Citizens' Oversight Committee, and no funds for administrators’ salaries?" |
