A Post Mountain Public Utilities parcel tax, Measure T appeared on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the Post Mountain utility district, in Trinity County.

Measure T was defeated.

  • Yes: 26 votes, or 41.27%
  • No: 37 votes, or 58.73%

The question voters were asked was:

"Shall the Post Mountain Public Utility District impose a special tax of thirty five dollars ($35.00) per year on each parcel of property within the geographic boundaries of the Post Mountain Public Utility District to provide for continued support and services of the district to include, but not be limited to; roads maintenance, equipment maintenance, snowplowing, administrative services, and general maintenance of the Public Utility District? Property owners within the district boundaries will be assessed thirty five dollars($35.00) per parcel."
