A Pueblo City Medical Marijuana Tax Implementation measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Pueblo, which is in Pueblo County.

This measure was approved

  • NO 11,724 (37.63%)[1]

This measure sought to implement a sales tax of 4.3 percent on all marijuana products and paraphernalia.[2] The new tax was expected to generate near $500,000 in the first year which would go towards police protection services.[3]

Current Statewide

A 2013 statewide measure, Amendment 66, would authorize Colorado to increase taxes with an expected revenue increase of $950 million for school funding.[4]
