There was a Queen Creek Local Home Rule Expenditure Limitation Option question on the March 9 ballot in the town of Queen Creek which is in both Maricopa County and Pinal County.

This measure was approved[1]

This question asked town residents if they wanted to renew the town's option to be ruled as a home rule municipality. This form of government allows town residents to change the spending limitations allowed by the municipality. The state imposes a spending limitation and this option is a way around those strict rules. This form of government is seen as more flexible and more focused on the town's needs.[2]
