A Quillayute Valley School District Levy Addition measure was on the February 8, 2011 ballot in the Quillayute Valley school district area which is in both Clallam and Jefferson Counties.

This measure was approved

  • YES 942 (65.87%)Approveda
  • NO 488 (34.13%)[1]

This measure sought to levy $1.41 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of two years on property within the school district area in order to help pay for maintenance and operational costs of the school district.[2] The school district was expected to have to pay around $10,000 for the special election but the current levy was set to expire this year so school officials had noted the cost in the budget already. The levy would renew and increase the current levy, which school officials stated was vital to the running of the school and should be easy to pass.[3]
