Castillo has worked as a partner in a law firm in Wahiawa, Hawaii since January 2002.[2]
Elections
2012
Castillo ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Hawaii's 2nd District. Castillo sought the nomination on the Democratic ticket. [3] The signature filing deadline was June 5, 2012, with the primary taking place on August 11, 2012.
Castillo was defeated by Tulsi Gabbard in the Democratic primary.[1]
Personal
Castillo met his wife, Lea, in 1973. They have been married since September 27, 1980. They moved to Hawai`i in 1987. The del Castillos have four daughters and two grandchildren [4]
