A Rancho Adobe Fire Protection District parcel tax, Measure Z ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in the Rancho Adobe Fire Protection District in Sonoma County, where it was defeated.

Measure Z would have authorized the district to levy a parcel tax of $60/parcel to support fire and EMS services.

A 2/3rds supermajority vote was required for approval.

MEASURE Z: "Shall Rancho Adobe Fire Protection District Ordinance No. 2012-01 be approved authorizing the District to impose and levy an additional special tax having a maximum rate of $60.00 per assessor's parcel number for a maximum term of 8 years?"[1]
