Head has been Precinct Vice-Committeeman for the Cass County Republican Party. He has also been Chairman of the Cass County Republican Party.
Head has worked as Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the following: Lake County Prosecutor's Office from 1994 to 1999, Marion County Prosecutor's Office from 1999 to 2001, Tippecanoe County Prosecutor's Office from 2001 to the present, and Cass County Prosecutor's Office since 2003.
Head earned his Bachelors from Wabash College, Crawfordsville, in 1991. He went on to receive his JD from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1994.
