Walker ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 104. He ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was defeated by incumbent Republican Larry Byrd in the November 8 general election.
Walker said his platform is focused on voter feedback and would work on issues in the legislature that the people are most concerned about. "I'm not a politician, but this country needs people who aren't politicians," he said.
