Rashid Malik was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 105 of the Georgia House of Representatives.

He was also a 2010 Democratic candidate for District 9 of the Georgia State Senate. The primary election was on July 20, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Malik ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 105. Malik was defeated by Renita Hamilton in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012. Joyce Chandler defeated Damon Ladd-Thomas in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]

Malik lost in the November 2 general election to Republican incumbent Don Balfour.[5]
