There was a Redmond City Vehicle Fuel Tax measure on the March 9 ballot in Deschutes County for voters in the city of Redmond.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 1,212 (26.25%)
  • NO 379 (73.75%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to add $.03 per gallon to the sale of local motor vehicle fuel. The tax would have been an added business tax on those that sell the fuel and would be used by the city to repair, reconstruct and maintain local roadways. The tax, if approved, would have begun on January 1, 2011.[2]
