From Ballotpedia
October 28, 2008
Republican Pete Olson says he can prove he did not commit voter fraud. In a new advertisement, he is being accused by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee of voting in two states and of being under federal investigation. However, Olson claims he has not been notified of any investigation and that he is innocent of all charges.

The Advertisement
Pete Olson is running against incumbent Nick Lampson in the 22nd District in Texas. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is running an advertisement claiming "a formal complaint charges Pete Olson with a felony" and "Pete Olson is running for Congress while a federal prosecutor investigates him for voter fraud back east." The advertisement also associates Olson with Tom Delay. However, Olson has announced that he can prove he did not vote in Virginia and Connecticut in 2003 and that he was in Senator Coryn's office during that time.[1]
