Rhode Island Bond Question (2010)

A Rhode Island Bond Question did not appear on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the state of Rhode Island as a legislatively-referred state statute. The measure would have authorized the issuance of bonds, refunding bonds, and temporary notes of the state specific capital projects. Projects included in the measure were higher education facilities and transportation. The specific projects that were being considered were former Shooters property in Providence and the former Rocky Point amusement park in Warwick. The projects would have been redeveloped for the public.

The measure was scheduled to be voted on by the Rhode Island State Senate on June 4, 2010. Section 1 of Article 14 of the Rhode Island Constitution says that the Rhode Island General Assembly can initiate the process of amendment "by a roll call vote of a majority of the members elected to each house."
