Rich Brauer (b. June 14, 1954) is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 87 since 2013. He represented District 100 from 2003 to 2013, but switched due to redistricting.

Brauer attended Southern Illinois University and Western Illinois University.

Brauer won re-election to the 100th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He defeated Bill Hinrichs in the Republican primary on February 2nd by a margin of 10,435 to 2,504. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[5]
