Richard Golick is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 40 since 2013. Golick represented the 34th District from 1999 to 2013.

Golick is an Attorney with the Southeast Regional Counsel for Allstate Insurance Company.

He is a member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Cure Autism Now, Friends of the Smyrna Library, Georgia Conservation Voters, Georgia District Attorneys Association, Georgia Hospital Association, Smyrna-Vinings Ducks Unlimited, South Cobb Arts Alliance, and the Vinings Rotary Club.[1]

Golick ran for re-election to the 34th District seat in 2010. He had no opposition in the July 20 primary. Golick defeated Maryline Blackburn (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]
