Richard Cleary was a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives. He represented the 8th District from 2006 until his defeat in 2010.

Cleary is an attorney. He earned his J.D. from the New England School of Law, and B.A. from the University of Maine at Orono.

Cleary is Vice President of the Aroostook Football League, and a member of the CHAMP Mentoring Program.[1]
