Richard Grabowski was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the 3rd Congressional District of Illinois. Grabowski defeated Arthur Jones and Jim Falvey in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012. He was defeated by incumbent Daniel Lipinski (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.

Biography

Grabowski grew up in neighborhoods on Chicago’s south and southwest side. Grabowski went to St. Augustine grade school, attended De La Salle, graduated St. Joseph HS in Chicago, and attended Moraine Valley Community College.

Career

Grabowski is a materials supervisor at a west suburban manufacturing company.

Grabowski ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Illinois' 3rd District. Grabowski lost to Daniel Lipinski in the general election.
