Impallaria ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Maryland's 2nd District. Impallaria sought the nomination on the Republican ticket, but was defeated by state senator Nancy Jacobs in the April 3, 2012 primary.[2]
2010
Impallaria successfully won re-election in the general election on November 2, 2010. He came in second to capture one of three available seats.[3]
