Richard Marek (b. December 29, 1946) is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Windham-5 since 2013. He previously represented Windham-6 from 2003 to 2013.

Marek has worked as a Justice of the Peace, a Deputy Fire Warden, and an Attorney.

Marek earned his BA in Political Science/History from Grand Valley State University. He went on to receive his JD from Wayne State University.

Marek won re-election in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Windham 5. Marek was unopposed in the August 28 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
