Campaign themes

Bosetti's campaign website listed the following issues:[2]

  • Local Rights
Excerpt: "For too long now, the legislature in Sacramento has tried to solve its problems on the backs of local jurisdictions. There has been a blatant disregard for the rights of those in Northern California. Water and property rights have been under assault from state and federal agencies."
  • Job Creation
Excerpt: "My top priority as your new Assemblyman is job creation in our district. It is absolutely vital that we change the job climate in the State of California. I will propose an economic plan aimed at getting our citizens back to work and retaining the jobs we have now."
  • Balanced Budget
Excerpt: "The California Budget is in disarray. Our annual deficits are horrendous and at unmanageable levels. We must balance our budget now! As a member of the Redding City Council, I have been a leader in cutting costs without raising taxes to maintain a balanced budget and a healthy reserve."
