Rick Neighbors was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Alabama.


Neighbors served three tours in South Vietnam in the United States Army. He then received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1979. Since then, he has worked in the textile industry and is currently employed by Pilgrims Pride.

Neighbors ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Alabama's 4th District. He was defeated by Daniel H. Boman in the Democratic primary on March 13.
