A River Valley School District bond election was on the August 5, 2008 ballot
in the River Valley public school district, located in Template:Berrien in Michigan, where it was defeated.

The election was scheduled by a vote of the district's school board.

The ballot question facing voters was whether to approve new district indebtedness of $17 million for the purposes of "Erecting, furnishing and equipping a new elementary school; developing and equipping playgrounds and an athletic field; erecting, furnishing and equipping an addition to and partially remodeling, furnishing and refurnishing, and equipping and re-equipping the middle/high school; acquiring and installing education technology; and developing and improving sites."
