Robert Arute was a Republican candidate for District 53 of the Connecticut House of Representatives. The primary election was on August 10, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

About

Arute earned his A.A. from N.H. Technical College in 1984. His professional experience includes working as a dealer and franchise manager for Snap Onh Tools Inc., vice-president of Operations for Stafford Motor Speedway, project manager for American General Contracting and business owner of Arute Realty Group.[1]

Arute was uncontested in the August 10 primary. He was defeated by incumbent Democrat Bryan Hurlburt in the November 2 general election.[2][3]

Personal

Arute and his wife, Tammy, have one child. They reside in Tolland, Connecticut.[1]
