Robert 'Bobby' Bunda (b. April 25, 1947) is a Democratic state senator in the Hawaii Senate, representing the 22nd district.
Education
Bunda earned his BS from Texas Wesleyan College in 1974. He then attended Graduate Studies at the University of Dallas in 1975.
Professional experience
Bunda has served in the United States Air Force, Texas Army National Guard, and Hawaii National Guard. He was a Banking Executive from 1973 to 1979. He has been an Insurance Agent since 1979. He is currently also an Independent Businessman.
Political experience
Bunda served in the Hawaii State House of Representatives from 1983 to 1994. He joined the Hawaii State Senate in 1994 and has served in that position since. He has been Senate President Emeritus since 2007, representing the 22nd district.
