Robert Freeman (b. March 9, 1956) is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 136.

Freeman earned his BA from Moravian College in 1978. He went on to receive his MA in History from Lehigh University in 1984. His professional experience includes his work as a Shop Steward.

Freeman served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1983 to 1994. He ran for re-election in 1994 but was denied. He then rejoined the Pennsylvania House in 1999. He has served in that position since, representing the 136th District.

Freeman won re-election to the 136th District Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition and defeated Republican Ron Shegda in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[3]
