Robert Hawks (b. April 24, 1941) is a Democratic member of the Montana Senate, representing District 33.
Education
Hawks earned his BS from Pacific University in 1963. He went on to receive his OD in Optometry in 1966.
Professional experience
Hawks was an Optometrist in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1974. He then worked as an Optometrist for Optometric Association/Advanced Eye Care Associates from 1974 to 2004.
Political experience
Hawks served as Commissioner of the City of Bozeman from 1998 to 1990. He then served as Mayor of the City of Bozeman from 1990 to 1992. He joined the Montana State Senate in 2005. He has served in that position since, representing the 33rd district.
