Robert Matzie is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 16.

Matzie earned his AA in High Technology Communications from the Community College of Beaver County. He went on to receive his BA in Journalism/Communications from Point Park University.

Matzie is a Radio Show Host for WMBA Radio.

Matzie has served as a Beaver County Representative at the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee. He has also served as a Field Office Representative for the Office of Commonwealth Senator Gerald J. LaValle. From 2003 to 2004, he was Mayor of Ambridge. In 2009, Matzie joined the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He has served in that position since, representing the 16th District.

Matzie ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 16. Matzie ran unchallenged in the Democratic primary on April 24 and defeated Kathleen Coder (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. [1][2]
