Robert Smith was a 2012 Green candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Tennessee.[1]

Smith was defeated by incumbent Phil Roe.[2] Smith ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Tennessee's 1st District. Smith faced Alan Woodruff (D), Phil Roe (R), Karen Brackett (I) and Michael Salyer (I) on November 6, 2012.[1]
