- Campaign Finance Reform: "Bob supports campaign finance reform to limit influence of lobbyists in our elections."
- Voter's Rights: "Bob supports the right of every New Hampshire citizen to vote for their representatives in government, that is consistent with the New Hampshire Constitution. He does not support the use of voter IDs as voter fraud is not a problem in our state. He would like to increase the use of hack-proof voting machines."
- Renewable Energy: "Bob supports the use of green energy and the creation of green jobs. It makes fiscal and environmental sense to power our 21st Century needs with clean, renewable, and affordable energy."

Perry won re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Strafford 3. Perry advanced past the September 11 primary and won election in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

Perry defeated Honey Puterbaugh (R) in the August 9 special election.[4][5]

Perry was defeated in the November 2, 2010 general election.

Perry advanced past the September 14 primary election. He faced incumbent Larry Brown (D), incumbent Susan Price (D), incumbent Rachel Burke (R), incumbent Carol Vita (R), Janet Kalar (D), Richard Stanley (D), Cory Mattocks (D), Alice Surago (D), Sam Cataldo (R), Lou Vita (R), Bill O'Connor (R), Joseph Pitre (R), Robbie Parsons (R), William Panek (R), Martin Harty (R), and David Mincin (R) in the November 2 general election.

On November 4, 2008, Perry finished sixth for the eight-seat Strafford 3 District in New Hampshire receiving 5,864 votes, behind Democrats Susan Price (6,190), and Dennis P. Vachon (6,035), and ahead of Democrats Larry Brown (5,717) Rachel Burke (5,704), James E. Cyr (5,624), Sylvia J. Arcouette (5,409) and Bob Srnec (5,017) and Republicans David A. Bickford (5,576), Carol M. Vita (5,492), George L. Bailey (5,440), Jim Forsythe (5,426), Dunc Chaplin (5,352), David L. Mincin (4,847), and Marty Harty (4,659), and others (20).[6]
