Robert Sprague is a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 83. He has served in the chamber since his appointment in February 2011 to replace Cliff Hite (R) who was appointed to the Ohio State Senate.[1]

Biography

Sprague earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University. He later received his M.B.A. from University of North Carolina. Sprague was the owner of a management consulting firm prior to his legislative career.

Sprague won re-election in the 2012 election for Ohio House District 83. Sprague defeated Kevin E. Rettig in the March 6 Republican primary election and defeated John F. Kostyo (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
