Robert Stivers (b. December 24, 1961) has been a Republican member of the Kentucky Senate since 1997. He represents the 25th district.
Education
Stivers attended the University of Louisville. He went on to earn his BS in Industrial Management from Sue Bennett Junior College. He then received his JD from the University of Kentucky.
Professional experience
Stivers was an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney from 1989 to 1993. He has been a private practice attorney since 1993.
Political experience
Stivers was a candidate for Commonwealth Attorney in 1993. He joined the Kentucky State Senate in 1997. He has served in that position since, representing the 25th district.
