Tarr has held several jobs in the past that include management of many large department store chains as well as being a store manager of a chain of three small variety stores in Manchester.[2][1]
Elections
2012
Tarr was seeking the Republican nomination for Governor of New Hampshire in the 2012 elections.[3] He faced Ovide Lamontagne and Kevin Smith in the Republican primary. Tarr was defeated by Ovide Lamontagne in the Republican primary on Setpember 11, 2012.[4] The primary election were held on September 11, 2012 and the general election is scheduled for November 6, 2012.
2010
Tarr failed to advance past the November 2, 2010 general election.
Tarr advanced past the September 14 primary election. He faced incumbent Theodoros Rokas (D), incumbent Roger Hebert (D), Richard Olson (R), Norma Greer Champagne (R), and John Gimas (D) in the November 2 general election.
