Robert Ziegelbauer (b. August 26, 1951) is a former Independent member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Ziegelbauer represented Wisconsin's 25th Assembly District which consisted of the Manitowoc region. Also, Ziegelbauer is the County Executive for Manitowoc County. Ziegelbauer ran as a Democrat from 1992 to 2008. On June 21, 2010, Ziegelbauer announced that he would leave the Democratic Party to run as an Independent citing issues with party leadership.

Since 1978, Ziegelbauer has owned a retail music store.

When asked his top priorities on the Wisconsin State Legislative Election 2006 National Political Awareness Test. he listed his top three as "Reduce Tax Burden, Limit Growth Govt. spending, Encourage Market Based Solution to Health Care Issues."

Ziegelbauer was re-elected to Wisconsin State Assembly District 25. He defeated Democrat Kerry Trask and Republican Andrew Wisniewski in the general election on November 2, 2010. Ziegelbauer was unopposed in the September 14, 2010 primary election.
