Roberts v. Priest was a decision in 2000 of the Arkansas Supreme Court; in it, the court prohibited the Arkansas Secretary of State from placing an initiative on the ballot because the language of the proposal, they believed, was misleading. Bobby Roberts was the plaintiff, on behalf of "Arkansans to Protect Police." Sharon Priest was the defendant, in her official capacity as Arkansas Secretary of State.
