Rock Wood School District Construction Bond Question (April 2013)
If approved, this measure, Proposition S, would have authorized the Rockwood School District to increase its debt by $38.4 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount in order to fund the acquisition, construction, renovation, repair, improvement, furnishing and equipment of school buildings and facilities. The debt service levy of the district is estimated to remain at 6.8 mills ($6.8 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) to pay for these bonds.
This measure requires a 4/7th's majority approval rate (57.1%) to pass.
