Robinson stated the following about his political philosophy in a biographical submission to Ballotpedia.[1]
- Tax The rich.
- Invest in Community Colleges, Universities of California, Cal State Universities and K-12.
- Support the Dream Act.
- Offer beneficial resources to businesses who hire veterans.
- Invest in entertainment and the arts.
- Invest in firefighter, teachers, police officers and social workers.
- Support subsidize housing for seniors, families and the disabled.
- Support re-entry programs.
- Invest in minority small businesses.
- Invest in public transportation for students.
Elections
2012
Robinson ran in the 2012 election for California State Assembly District 59. He advanced past the June 5, 2012, blanket primary, defeating Gertrude Holmes-Magee (D), Armenak Nouridjanian (D), and Greg Akili (D). Robinson was defeated by Reginald Jones-Sawyer (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
