According to petitioners, the attempt to recall Rodney Sanders, President of the Board of the Strathmore, California Public Utilities District, is because Sanders "has not acted in the best interests of the residents of Strathmore."[1]
The petition goes on to say, "He has mismanaged public finances, he has condoned waste and incompetence, he has favored “connections” over qualifications in personnel matters, and he has shown disregard and disrespect for members of the community.[1]
