Rogrick Wardell was a 2011 Independent candidate for District 24 of the Mississippi State Senate.

Wardell is the executive director of SPLASH Foundation, Inc. and a substitute teacher in Leflore County Public Schools. He earned a B.A. in recreation from Alcorn State and a Master's in criminal justice from Mississippi Valley State University.[1]

Wardell ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi Senate District 24. He faced no primary on August 2, 2011. Incumbent David Jordan defeated challenger Earl Blackmon in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 8, 2011.[2]
