Ron Shimanski (b. November 23, 1952) is a former Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 18A from 2007 to 2013 and serving as an Assistant Minority Whip.

Shimanski has worked as a farmer and layout and design technician. He is widowed and has 3 children.[1]

The Taxpayers League of Minnesota, a Minnesota-based taxpayer advocacy organization, releases a legislative scorecard for the Minnesota House of Representatives and Minnesota State Senate once a year.
