Ron Szabo was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 9 of the Montana State Senate.

Szabo is retired; he worked in retail sales, and as a sales manager and unit supervisor. He has a bachelor's degree in political science and history from Washington State University.[1][2]

Szabo ran in the 2012 election for Montana State Senate, District 9. Szabo ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and was defeated by incumbent Rick Ripley (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
