Ggraser was defeated by incumbent Bill Huizenga.[1] Graeser ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Michigan's 2nd District. Graeser ran as a US Taxpayers Party candidate. He faced Democratic write-in Willie German, Jr., Mary Buzuma (L), William Opalicky (G), and Republican incumbent Bill Huizenga in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
