Ronald Rice has been a Democratic member of the New Jersey Senate since 1986. Bills that have been sponsored by Senator Rice include Senate Bill 8 and Senate Bill 51.[1]
Rice graduated with an A.S. in Police Science from Essex County College, and also graduted with a B.S. in Administration and Planning from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Rice later obtained an M.A. in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University. He also attended Rutgers School of Law. [2]
In addition to being a senator, Rice was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 1966-1970. Rice was also a member of the Newark City Counci from 1982 to 1998.[3]
