Tarolla was a candidate for District 32 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. Tarolla and Michael Bartulovich ran unopposed in the Republican Primary on June 7. Vincent Prieto and Angelica Jimenez defeated Francisco Torres in the Democratic primary. Saleh Awadalla and April Tricoli-Busset ran as Independents in the November 8 general election as well.[1]
