Russ Feingold was a Democratic member of the U.S. Senate from the state of Wisconsin. Feingold served from 1993 to 2011.

Feingold is a potential candidate for Wisconsin's U.S. Senate seat in 2016. He announced his resignation as United States Special Envoy for the Great Lakes Region of Africa, potentially clearing the way for a 2016 Senate bid.[1]
