Ruth Baisden was a Democratic candidate for District 8 of the Maryland House of Delegates. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2.

Baisden ran in the September 14 primary, along with Cal Bowman, Eric Bromwell, and Nichole Kirby. She came in second to advance to the general election.

Baisden lost in the general election on November 2, 2010, coming in fourth. Three seats were available.[1]
