Saginaw Charter Amendments, 4 (August 2010)
Three of the four measures were approved
The first amendment would have changed it so that elected officials would not necessarily need to reside in the city to work for the city, state laws would govern which posts had to have residents living within the city limits.
The second amendment will clarify language dealing with the job responsibilities delegated to the financial director.
The third amendment will take out a enforcement of a tax that is not enforceable by the city council members.
The fourth amendment will make it easier for the council to approve measures if a member is missing during a vote.
