These measures sought to renew the current road levy which is set at a rate of $.20 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for road improvement costs in the township.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Saltcreek Township for the purpose of road improvement at a rate not exceeding two (2.0) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty cents ($0.20) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012. |
