San Francisco Payroll Expense Tax, June 2009

A San Francisco Payroll Expense Tax may appear on a special June 2, 2009 election ballot in San Francisco.^[1]

San Francisco Board of Supervisors President David Chiu sponsored putting the measure on the June ballot.

The measure if enacted would reduce the payroll expense tax rate from 1.5% to 1% for businesses with payroll in excess of $300,000 but less than $400,000.
