The San Francisco Policy Against Funding the Deployment of Armed Forces in Iraq Act, or Proposition U, was on the November 4, 2008 ballot in San Francisco for voters in the City of San Francisco.
Proposition U was approved with 59.24% of the vote.

The language on the ballot said:
- Shall it be City policy that its elected representatives in the United States Senate and House of Representatives vote against any further funding for the deployment of United States Armed Forces in Iraq, except for funds to withdraw troops?
